About the Role
As a Threat Response Analyst Graduate at Mimecast, you’ll join our Messaging Security team to help protect organizations from email-based cyber threats. You’ll work on resolving security incidents, reducing risks for global businesses, and staying ahead of evolving digital threats. This role may include afternoon/evening shifts and occasional holiday coverage.
Key Responsibilities
- Investigate phishing/malware campaigns and identify security threats
- Improve threat detection methods for email, links, and attachments
- Provide expert security guidance and solutions to customers
- Analyze email security configurations and recommend improvements
- Research emerging cybersecurity trends and prevention strategies
- Collaborate with security partners to enhance threat response
What You’ll Bring
- IT degree/diploma (required)
- Basic understanding of email systems and network security
- Familiarity with security tools like anti-spam/anti-virus software
- Technical troubleshooting experience
- Curiosity about cyberattack patterns and prevention
