Who Should Apply?

We support two groups of future actuaries:

1. Current University Students
– SA citizens studying full-time Actuarial Science (1st/2nd/3rd year)
– Strong academic performers with determination to succeed

2. Future Students
– Matriculants starting Actuarial Science in 2026
– Mathematics masters (90%+ math score, overall A aggregate)

Application Requirements

Current Students Submit:
– Academic transcripts & proof of registration
– Matric certificate & ID copy
– CV highlighting academics and leadership
– Motivation letter answering:
  1. What does an actuary do?
  2. Why actuarial science?
  3. Your unique strengths
  4. Why choose you?
  5. Alternative career plans

School Leavers Submit:
– Grade 11 final & Grade 12 mid-year results
– NBT scores (if available)
– Same CV and motivation letter requirements
