About the Role:
Plan, manage, and coordinate technical and production requirements to deliver high-quality radio programs that inform, educate, and entertain audiences. Ensure alignment with the Ikwekwezi FM and SABC mandates under the Broadcasting Act.
Key Responsibilities:
– Develop content briefs, scripts, and program specifications.
– Collaborate with presenters to refine program concepts.
– Research and analyze content to shape program genres.
– Monitor content quality and editorial standards compliance.
– Provide regular updates to management on project progress.
– Uphold SABC editorial guidelines and ethical standards.
– Engage stakeholders in content creation and delivery.
Requirements:
– National Diploma/Degree in Media Studies, Journalism, Communications, or related field (NQF 6).
– Knowledge of media industry dynamics and key stakeholders.
– Understanding of broadcasting legislation and media laws.
