About the Role

Coca-Cola Beverages South Africa (CCBSA) is offering a 12-month In-Service Trainee opportunity in our Quality Assurance department. The successful candidate will gain hands-on experience in maintaining product quality standards while supporting our manufacturing processes. You’ll report directly to the Quality Assurance Manager.

What You’ll Do

• Conduct quality tests on products and packaging.
• Prepare reports and communicate deviations from quality standards.
• Ensure compliance with company and industry regulations.
• Support problem-solving using scientific principles to improve processes.

Skills & Qualifications

• Education: Matric with 40%+ in Mathematics, Physical Science, and two South African languages (Maths Literacy not accepted).
• Current Study: Enrolled in Microbiology, Biotechnology, Food Technology, or similar (must require practical training to graduate).
• Skills: Analytical thinking, adaptability under pressure, and strong decision-making.
• Other: Basic understanding of laboratory practices and food industry standards.

Requirements

• South African citizen aged 18–35.
• Must qualify as an Employment Equity candidate.
• Unemployed at the time of application.
• A letter from your institution confirming your need for workplace experience.
• No prior in-service training completed elsewhere.
