Handyman Workshop Technician

Position Overview

Location: Durban, KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa
Job Type: Permanent
Remuneration: R221,348.60 – R287,333.14 per annum

About the Role

Join our Parks, Leisure, and Cemeteries team to maintain and service small plant equipment, ensuring operational efficiency.
Special conditions: Must be willing to work overtime and in various weather conditions.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine servicing, repairs, and maintenance of machinery.
• Operate allocated vehicles safely and efficiently.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities.
• Comply with all health and safety regulations.

Requirements

Essential:

• Grade 10 certificate or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license.
• 2+ years of relevant experience.

Preferred:

• Grade 12 (NQF Level 4).
• Code EC1 driver’s license and valid PDP.
• 3+ years of relevant experience.
