The Opportunity
Join our Johannesburg team as an intern to help create innovative hair care solutions. You’ll learn to balance product performance with regulatory requirements, contributing to formulas that redefine beauty standards.
What You’ll Do
– Assist in developing and optimizing new hair care formulas, focusing on performance, stability, and user experience.
– Ensure all formulas meet regional and international regulatory standards for cosmetics.
– Support safety assessments by reviewing test results and preparing safety documentation.
– Evaluate new raw materials for quality, safety, and compliance.
– Maintain detailed records of experiments, data, and assessments.
– Collaborate with R&I teams and cross-functional departments like Marketing and Product Development.
Who You Are
– B.Sc. in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering (required).
– Hands-on lab experience in formulation development (preferred, especially in cosmetics/personal care).
– Basic understanding of cosmetic regulations (a plus).
– Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
– Keen attention to detail.
– Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
– Passion for hair care innovation and product development.
