About the Opportunity:
Eskom invites applications for a 3-year Electrical Apprentice program in our Distribution division. Successful candidates will receive institutional and on-the-job training to qualify for a Trade Test certificate.
Minimum Requirements:
– Grade 12 with Mathematics (50%), Physical Science (50%), and English (40%)
OR
– N3 Engineering with Mathematics (50%), Physical Science (50%), and English (40%)
OR
– NCV Level 4 with Physical Science (50%), Mathematics (50%), and English (40%)
Key Competencies:
– Strong communication skills (written & verbal)
– Self-disciplined and safety-conscious
– Motivated with emotional resilience
– Computer literacy
– Valid driver’s license (advantageous)
Responsibilities:
– Complete theoretical and practical training modules
– Participate in maintenance and operations activities
– Adhere to safety protocols and Eskom standards
– Develop technical skills in electrical distribution systems
