About the Role
Join our team to support the production of high-quality pre-mixed concrete by managing lab testing, plant operations, and quality assurance tasks. This role requires a hands-on approach in a dynamic industrial environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform daily concrete tests (slump, moisture, cube strength) per industry standards.
- Prepare and cure concrete test cubes for quality analysis.
- Collect, label, and store raw material samples safely.
- Maintain lab equipment and ensure a clean, organized workspace.
- Record test results accurately and report issues to Quality Controllers.
- Assist with general plant operations as needed.
Requirements
- Grade 12 qualification.
- 6+ months of plant or lab experience (construction industry preferred).
- Physical fitness for labor-intensive tasks and dusty environments.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow safety protocols.
- Willingness to work overtime when required.
