About the Role:

What We’re Looking For:

• Grade 12 qualification or at least 1 year of relevant work experience
• Ability to communicate in English and the local area’s predominant language
• Strong math skills and attention to detail
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays
• Ability to multitask under pressure

Key Responsibilities:

Cash Handling:

• Process transactions accurately via POS terminals
• Maintain balanced cash floats and daily takings
• Prepare end-of-shift cash reports and safe deposits
• Verify payment types and handle currency exchange

Customer Service:

• Provide friendly, efficient checkouts
• Guide customers to appropriate departments
• Maintain professional appearance per dress code

Operations & Safety:

• Complete daily documentation and filing
• Follow safety protocols for staff and customers
• Secure cash handling per company guidelines

Performance Skills:

• Meet accuracy and productivity targets
• Troubleshoot issues promptly
• Make decisions aligned with company policies
• Communicate effectively with teams and customers
