About the Role:
Join Ikwekwezi FM as a Marketing Assistant Intern and support our digital media strategy. Work closely with the Digital Product Specialist, Marketing Manager, and Programme Manager to grow our online presence, manage campaigns, and engage audiences across digital platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
– Implement the station’s digital media strategy to grow online communities.
– Assist in planning, tracking, and optimizing digital campaigns and projects.
– Create engaging content (videos, images, posts) for social media platforms like Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube.
– Monitor social media interactions and respond to audience comments.
– Prepare campaign reports using analytics tools to measure performance.
– Collaborate with programming and marketing teams to align digital efforts with station goals.
– Ensure compliance with policies, regulations, and brand guidelines.
– Support event coverage by capturing photos/videos for promotional use.
Requirements:
– Diploma in Digital Marketing, Media Studies, or related field (NQF Level 7).
– Basic knowledge of digital marketing tools, graphic design, or content creation (advantageous).
– Familiarity with social media platforms and analytics tools.
– Creative thinking and problem-solving skills.
– Strong organizational and teamwork abilities.
– Proficiency in the station’s broadcast language.
– Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
