General Assistant (External Applications Only)
About the Role:
Join our team as a General Assistant and play a key role in delivering excellent customer service, maintaining store presentation, and ensuring a safe shopping environment. This position requires flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist customers with product inquiries and resolve complaints promptly.
- Merchandise stock according to store layout plans and update shelf labels.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in assigned areas for customer safety.
- Follow safety protocols and report hazards to management.
- Monitor stock conditions and report damages.
- Complete daily checklists for restrooms, canteens, and storage areas.
Requirements:
- Grade 10/NQF 3 + 1 year experience OR Grade 12 with no experience.
- Proficiency in English and local language.
- Valid South African ID/work permit.
- Basic math skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work weekends, holidays, and under pressure.
