About the Role
We are seeking a reliable General Worker – Assistant Driver to support our logistics team with loading, unloading, and delivery operations. This role requires physical stamina, teamwork, and a commitment to maintaining efficient workflows.
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 / Matric certificate (NQF Level 4)
- Prior experience in warehousing, manufacturing, or logistics
- Ability to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays
- Own reliable transportation to/from work
- Clean criminal record and medical fitness
- Physical capability to lift heavy items and stand for extended periods
- Strong communication skills and teamwork ethic
- Self-motivated with attention to detail
Key Responsibilities
- Load and unload company products efficiently
- Assist drivers with route navigation and delivery confirmations
- Maintain accurate delivery records and reports
- Collect customer signatures for proof of delivery
- Perform vehicle cleaning and post-shift unloading
- Report delivery issues to supervisors promptly
- Maintain cleanliness in work areas (general housekeeping)
