Bread Dispatch Assistant
About the Role:
We’re seeking a detail-oriented individual to manage daily bread loading, offloading, and stock control at our facility. Your focus will be ensuring efficient operations and maintaining quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Load bread accurately using picking slips
- Manage stock transfers and GRV documentation
- Count and balance trays in delivery trucks
- Attend daily inventory meetings (invocoms)
- Maintain quality control and FIFO stock rotation
- Track all incoming/outgoing stock
- Prepare daily reports
- Ensure timely truck departures
- Resolve dispatch-related queries
Required Skills:
- Strong numerical skills
- Attention to detail
- Team player with problem-solving ability
- Time management and accountability
- Knowledge of inventory systems
Requirements:
- Grade 12 certificate or equivalent
- 3+ months FMCG experience (preferred)
Work Conditions:
- Flexible shifts including weekends/public holidays
- Overtime until last truck is loaded
- Rotation between dispatch tasks
- Occasional office clerk support
