Stock Controller

Job Description

We are seeking an organized Stock Controller to manage inventory operations and ensure smooth daily processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Order and manage inventory for food, beverages, and resale items
  • Receive and issue stock following company policies
  • Conduct weekly stock counts and daily cost calculations
  • Process supplier invoices via My Market system
  • Maintain storage areas to meet hygiene and safety standards
  • Rotate stock and ensure proper date labeling
  • Minimize waste and manage leftovers effectively
  • Build relationships with suppliers and clients
  • Prepare reports on stock availability and quality issues
  • Support team members and perform additional tasks as needed

Requirements

  • Grade 12/Matric certificate
  • 2+ years’ relevant experience
  • Basic computer skills (My Market experience preferred)
  • Inventory management knowledge (advantageous)
