About the Role:
We seek a skilled Handyman to join our maintenance team at ANEW Hotel Greenpoint. This role requires a proactive professional committed to maintaining high standards in a 4-star hospitality environment.
Requirements:
- Trade certification in plumbing, electrical work, or carpentry
- 1+ years maintenance experience in 3/4-star hotels
- Available for shift work including weekends
- Strong attention to detail & organizational skills
- Proficiency in English (isiZulu beneficial)
- Valid driver’s license preferred
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform repairs on furniture, fixtures, and building elements
- Conduct painting/polishing work
- Maintain electrical systems and plumbing infrastructure
- Complete preventative maintenance checks
- Ensure compliance with safety standards
- Support other departments as needed
