About the Opportunity:
Join Rheinmetall Denel Munition as an Industrial Engineering Intern and gain hands-on experience in driving production efficiency. Contribute to impactful projects focused on optimizing processes, safety, and quality within a global defense industry leader.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct time studies and line balancing to establish standard cycle times
• Create and validate MBOM/PBOM structures
• Develop work instructions, process flows, and facility layouts
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives for quality, cost, and safety targets
• Perform safety risk assessments
What We Require:
• Completed S4 subjects/National Diploma in Industrial Engineering (Degree preferred)
• Knowledge of work-study methods, facility planning, and operations management
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (advanced Excel skills essential)
• Ability to interpret technical drawings
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and time management abilities
• Team-oriented mindset with innovative thinking
